My Honest Thoughts on Proton VPN

My VPN of choice is Proton VPN. I've been using them for years along with their other security-focused services such as Proton Mail. They have a reputation for being serious about security and I've come to trust them.

Their VPN is extremely easy to use and I love that they have apps for every platform, including VPN routers. Proton has servers in 100+ countries and a lot of options in the USA, which is perfect for me when traveling abroad. I always have several VPN profiles set up on my GLi.Net travel router pointed at Proton that I can easily switch between.

Proton VPN does have a free plan, which might be worth trying if you're interested. However, I usually see that the free servers have the highest load in the server list, so I'm not sure how that might affect performance. I recommend taking your VPN seriously and shelling out the few bucks a month for a good one. If you use my link below, Proton will even give you 60% off - so you can get VPN service through an awesome company for around $4 / month.
